LOGLINE:  Three Beverly Hills 7th Grade girls are transforming, at least on the outside, from scholars to socialites.

STORYLINE:  At Beverly Hills Prep (BHPrep), Daphne Daniels, Valerie Preston, and Kira Nakasi (DVK) were the smartest kids in school!   The fun-loving, carefree trio of scholars just laughed when given such not so affectionate nick names as the “three a-geekos” and “nerds of a feather.”  But, all that was so last year!  Before, boys!

Hitting their “tween” years with a startling interest in boys, DVK discover that the opposite gender is intimidated by brains.  So, they’re moving on and starting over!  DVK have transferred to public school, but not just any public school — Beverly Hills Junior High (BHJH).  They make their entrance with designer glamour, chic style, and captivating smiles, hiding their exceptional IQs, or at least trying.

But there’s a flaw in the plan!  One of the popular girls from BHPrep, Dede Armstrong, is also transferring to BHJH — the uniform at BHPrep was limiting her style. Joined by the BHJH “Mean Girls,” led by Allison Alda, Dede is determined to out the girls for the braniacs they are.

Ryan Michelson, starting quarterback, has been the property of Allison Alda.  But, now he only has eyes for Daphne.  With Stuart Smith, his chief lieutenant, Ryan is causing the popular boys to give all their attention to DVK. Boys judge a book by its cover. The new girls look cute, fun, and not too intimidating. Soon DVK also look like the new popular girls.

Each episode has three basic storylines, all set inside the world of junior high: (1) In the “A Story” DVK are faced with a crisis that can only be resolved with brains, but while finding the solution they must remain hidden behind their “cute and fun” facade; (2) All the while, Dede, Allison, and their “Mean Girls” are dedicated to exposing DVK as “smart” girls — but the “Mean Girls” are always one step behind; (3) And, DVK are getting their lessons on boys, as they are stalked by Ryan, Stuart and the popular boys.  The goal of our heroes: be smart and popular too!
